Ride To Gettysburg with Heroes – April 28-30
It is always so awesome to see they guys roll into town every year.
Face of America 2017 from national non-profit World T.E.A.M. Sports offers an inspiring weekend of bicycle and hand cycle rides to Gettysburg, Pennsylvania that bring together civilians with retired and active military and first responders, including adaptive military veterans and civilians from across the United States, Puerto Rico and Canada.
Whether you select our classic two-day, 110-mile Arlington, Virginia to Gettysburg route, or our two-day, 120-mile Valley Forge, Pennsylvania to Gettysburg route, you will participate in an established event that inspires and satisfies. Face of America gives you the opportunity to join a growing community of caring people, both able-bodied and disabled, who ride the same road in honoring military veterans and first responders who have given so much in their service.
Presented by Capital One Bank, Face of America 2017 has a limited number of participant and volunteer entries through all categories. Owing to the limited numbers, early registration is highly encouraged.
Adaptive military veterans, first responders and civilians with disabilities ranging from loss of limb to paralysis to blindness to Post-Traumatic Stress participate at no cost. All other participants pay a nominal registration fee and are expected to meet or exceed category minimum fundraising goals. Funds raised through participant donations and fundraising with family, friends and colleagues will cover the costs of our participating adaptive riders, and also cover the expense of the event. Any remaining funds raised will support upcoming World T.E.A.M. Sports events nationally.

Bontrager Tires Build Strong Kids
Trek donates $1 from the sale of every Bontrager mountain bike tire to the National Interscholastic Cycling Association. Trek is proud to support NICA’s mission to help kids build strong bodies, minds, and characters through cycling.
It is so great to see NICA growing. Currently there are teams in Chambersburg, Hanover and Carlisle. Gettysburg and Fairfield should have teams this year. They are the future of our sport!
